GLAAD: Be an ally and a friend

This month the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced a new series of "Be an Ally & a Friend" public service announcements featuring 22 top entertainers.

Ooooh, thanks for the tip. I'm still new to the organizations out there for The Rights. Most of my activism is more local and educational and I really need these reminders to bring my activism to the web as well (aside from MySpace, of course).

But local and educational is what's most needed. We can't be ranting all day long about discrimination cases while comfortably couched inside our comfortable walls sipping comfortably scotchs on the rocks and watching Jesus Camp or A Jihad for Love in our comfortable Home Cinema plasma screens.
